Sometimes change is necessary

• Managing impulsive spending,
• Sticking to a budget or spending plan,
• Learning new skills to obtain or maintain better employment, or
• Reduction of stress and anxiety.

But change can be hard

• Millions of people fail to acquire the basic skills necessary for any job,
• Nearly three quarters of people fail to stick to any kind of budget,
• More than half of all purchases are impulsive buys, and
• More than 20% of people carry a balance on their credit card month to month.

About Image
Everyone deserves the opportunity for growth.
Reset helps uncover the root causes that block progress. Our deep understanding of those unique challenges unlocks pathways to a better life while building on each person’s strengths and goals. Our mission is to help people change and grow, by identifying the things that are holding them back, and enabling qualified professionals to remediate the relevant root causes of (in)action. What is it? Reset is an assessment system designed to identify the root causes that prevent people from changing, growing, and succeeding. This is accomplished through an artificial intelligence driven, two-step process designed to first identify problem areas through a set of broadly defined core assessments, then uncover the causes of the problem using a root cause analysis performed on data collected on more narrowly defined, targeted assessments. Who uses it? It is intended for use by individual users wishing to discover and address the obstacles preventing their efforts to self-improve, and for employment counselors, life coaches, nutritionists, psychological and psychiatric practitioners, educators, and others attempting to help their clients’ efforts to self-improve.

How Does RESET Work?

Managing change is a process that involves a number of steps. Among these are:
  • Identifying the negative outcomes,
  • Discovering the problems that lead to the negative outcomes, and
  • Determining the causes of those problems.
The Reset assessment system was designed to assist in this effort. The assessment process consists of two steps. The first step, called the core assessment, is for the purpose of detecting the problems that are leading to the individual’s negative life outcomes. For those areas in which a problem is detected, a second assessment, called a root cause assessment, is given to the individual to identify what causes are contributing to the individual’s difficulties. Note that neither the core assessments nor the root cause assessments involve any cognitive testing. Rather, each assessment consists of a series of statements pertaining to one’s attitudes, beliefs, or behaviors. For each assessment the statements are presented, and the individual is asked to agree or disagree with each. From these responses it can be inferred to what degree the individual’s own attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors are preventing the kind of changes that are necessary to achieve or maintain the desired change. Reset allows you to choose from among the following themes.
  • Achieving Financial Success
  • Achieving Wellbeing
  • Improving Life Skills
  • Improving Employability
  • Improving Health
The Achieving Financial Success assessments explore topics such as your ability to manage your finances, the adequacy of your current employment, and your ability to advance within your chosen occupation. The Achieving Wellbeing assessments focus on the adequacy of your physical and social environment, as well as your feelings with regard to self-esteem, self-acceptance, and self-actualization. The Improving Life Skills assessments examines your skills in the areas of financial management, stress management, communications, and conflict resolution. The Improving Employability assessments examine issues with regard to your ability to obtain employment, including your understanding of the hiring process, your self-presentation skills, the reasonableness of your employment expectations, and your ability to overcome challenges. They also explore your ability to maintain employment, including your workplace competencies, your ability to work with others, and the extent to which you feel fulfilled with your current occupation. The Improving Health assessments address emotional, social, or cultural obstacles to following a regimen such as a diet or exercise plan, or following a doctor’s instructions, as well as physical and cognitive challenges you may face.

How Is RESET Different & The Best ?

Reset is not a personality test or a cognitive assessment, and it does not produce a numeric score. It uses artificial intelligence to identify attitudes, opinions, and beliefs that block individual growth and improvement in areas such as wellbeing, life skills, and employability.

Reset is not a single assessment. It incorporates a two-step process that first identifies the negative outcomes being experienced by the individual, then performs a deep-dive into the root causes of the individual’s failure to make the changes necessary to achieve more positive outcomes.

Reset assessments are assembled by a team of highly experienced psychologists and assessment experts employing state of the art psychometrics. Based on the most widely researched and validated models and theories of the psychosocial determinants of behavior, they address factors such as environmental mastery, safety, self-actualization, self-efficacy, and grit.

Reset produces reports with specific recommendations as to the changes in attitudes and beliefs the individual needs to make and identifies resources that can help.

Reset does not require any psychological, counseling, or assessment expertise on the part of the user or professional provider; nor does the user or provider need to know anything about artificial intelligence. Benefits to the provider from using this highly automated assessment system include enhanced work efficiency, reduced workload, improved quality of services, enhanced client engagement, and improved client outcomes.
